Our Events
Please join us in the mission of elevating EVERY LOA student’s experience and life!
When it’s needed most, The Lake Oconee Academy Foundation steps in and provides what it can through donations to make magical moments happen. Whether that is a new academic or arts building, athletic fields, a trumpet, a golf bag, or even a scholarship for a once-in-a-lifetime field trip across the world, the foundation uses every penny to maximize the difference in a child’s education and life while on campus and beyond. Children are only children once, and their time as growing individuals is a critical period worthy of every boost possible. They are the next generations of leaders.

Thank you for supporting the Lake Oconee Academy Foundation!
The Lake Oconee Academy Foundation (LOAF), an independent 501(c)(3) supports the students, teachers, coaches and administrators of Lake Oconee Academy by raising private dollars for school activities, supplies and facilities that are not or cannot be funded by state or local tax dollars. Funding is provided throughout the year to a diverse student body to ensure equal access to personally enriching and well-rounded educational experiences in and outside the classroom.
In previous years, LOAF has provided students with 6,000+ library books, a piano lab, broadcasting equipment, updated technology, travel scholarships for international study programs and most recently, the completion of a new fine arts building and more. Your generous donation to LOAF will directly impact students’ overall educational experiences, enabling us to sponsor enhanced learning opportunities and a nurturing environment for growth. By supporting Lake Oconee Academy, donors play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education in Greene County by broadening success for a diversified student body.
